Hanbay Inc., a Montreal-based manufacturer of compact electric valve actuators, announced today the release of its new dome position indicator. This new option provides a clear visual indication of valve position and/or the status of flow control in a line where the actuator is installed. The low-profile dome has an ergonomic design that is highly visible from multiple angles without compromising the compact footprint of the Hanbay actuator.

“Being able to visually see the true position of the valve from a distance or variable angles will provide invaluable information to process control technicians and field engineers,” stated Chris DePalma, Technical Sales Manager at Hanbay.

The new low-profile dome position indicator is currently available on the Hanbay MDM medium torque and MDL low torque actuators. The compact units are typically paired with ball, butterfly, and shut-off valves approximately 1/8” to ¾” in size. The position indicator is also compatible with Hanbay’s stainless-steel enclosure.
